Doing weddings for long time friends is always a huge honour. I’ve known Kevin since I was probably around 13 years old- and he’s always been a kind, gentle human being. Meeting his beautiful wife Jacqui was a privilege. Not only did she share a lot of the same traits as Kevin, but they are perfectly matched in their interests, kind hearted nature, (the couple donated any money made for drinks to the Saugeen Rail Trail to give you an idea of the types of people they are) and ability to make others smile.
Their day started off with questionable weather, but of course the sun came shining down in full force on this wonderful couple as they “tied the knot” at the top level of the Saugeen Shores Golf Course. Friends and family congratulated the couple after a humorous, short-and-sweet ceremony, and then I stole the bridal party away to do shots in my new “secret” location at the Golf course that I just LOVE so much. Nothing like a field of flowers with a tree line that hides the sun perfectly. (HELLO photographers dream!)
As the night carried on, we ate, we danced, we laughed and the couple was toasted again and again for being such wonderful friends, and family to everyone in the room.
Thanks again Jacqui and Kevin for having me capture your day. I feel blessed to have been a part of such an amazing time in your lives.
Carina made this day so special! We were so happy with how the day went and the pictures turned out….everyone should have her photograph their wedding…so amazing!!!!
