What a perfect wedding to start off my 2018 wedding season. The weather was amazing for photography (overcast, and mild) and the bride and groom were both stunning looking individuals who made my job easy!
The bridal party was fun and entertaining all night- and I did know a few guests who attended the wedding so it was nice to mingle and chat with people throughout the day. I also got to hang out with the videographer, who was a ton of fun.
Chris and Brittany started their perfect day off with a first look. Brittany had lots of time to prepare for this as she had done a first look beforehand with her father, and her bridal party- which was so cute I thought my heart was going to explode.
Chris waited out on the pier at Cobble Beach for his future Mrs. Rier to come walking down and pat him on the shoulder…his reaction was perfectly sweet and reminded me of why I enjoy first looks so much. They embraced and complimented each other while joking around about the excitement that was to come. You can spot the love between these two immediately, and I felt lucky to chosen to capture such a milestone in their lives.
The ceremony was perfectly perfect and had a few good laughs that reminded all of us why this couple is so great together. Cocktail hour commenced and the bridal party and I headed down to the lighthouse and water to capture some pictures of everyone.
Dinner was delicious and the Cobble Beach staff was amazing, as always. The best man entertained everyone at dinner while the MC kept him in line (after all, he did have several shots before dinner was even served!)
I captured a wonderful first dance between the newly married couple as well as their dances with their Mother and Father, then I let the party commence…after all, what happens at the after party- stays at the after party, right?
Thanks again Brittany and Chris, and congratulations on your beautiful marriage. I can’t wait to see your family grow and your many years of happiness ahead.
